Exetel is Australia’s award-winning NBN broadband provider. Is the net quality so bad? I've just signed up with Exetel via an operator over the phone because, even though I already have 100/40 HFC NBN with TPG, the Exetel site says I have no NBN provision at my address. I have not received anything at all from exetel, no modem , not even an online message confirming my account? They might have been slightly cheaper on comparison, but not worth the hassle.I’m considering getting Exetel for my new place (I live alone) and need something that’s budget friendly but reviews are concerning. Than it’s gets so muddled up even when I payed on the agreed time it didn’t update in their ‘system’ so I got automatically disconnected.

After almost a year, my ZTE modem started playing up, where I could connect to my work PC through a VPN using Remote Desktop. I find Coustmer service great, never had any outages. I advise to look elsewhere.Some 3 weeks ago I contacted exetel regarding changing to NBN through exetel, I supplied all my details including visa card details and they said a modem would arrive in the next few days and that the connection to NBN might take up to 3 weeks, so far nothing!! Exetel technical support were really helpful at diagnosing the problem and had a NBN technician out the next business day.
