AFAIK Aussie doesn't support IMAP – However there is a workaround here – Same issue here with the Android Outlook app.

As I have never had any issues with Open, Mod or Strict connection type, I have always been able to port forward and issue has been resolved...Something has changed...Edit: Aussie don't block ports... they'd have no reason to block your games.

During Peak times, the Aussie Broadband will not respond at all for the period that the line is down.
