If you need a hand doing this, feel free to get in touch with our team by phone on 13 22 58 or via email to [email protected] to have us take care of … Although we try to be precise with the lookup location and other details regarding a certain IP or domain we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. I have an iinet.com.au VoIP service which ive added as a VoIP gateway. The VR600v would fit that bill, if it works on VOIP.Considering iinet have no obligation to assist you setting up a 3rd party routers voip adapter. Although it sounds like you're already across this it might be worth just double checking the SIP settings as others have said, the details of which can be found on our website – videos, documents, comments).
There was mention about some ppl changing the state in the address for registration issues but yours sounds something more like a hardware issue
Just a matter of the SIP server recognising the new device (at a guess). Also have found ( and probably already debated in other posts) that setting up VoIP with iiNet on the TPlink Vr600v cannot be done.
Can not reach to local cell phone number but can reach to international number. Use the provided modem or no VoIP.so over the last year you start to learn stuff and i suspect to had to do with the novus system but having the the old system iinet had to pass on some information to get netphone online.Iinet from memory only require basic sip register settings then your user/pass from memoryThanks Steve – that was the info that did the trick when Tplink put me onto it :)today i'm still not sure why they have not got my service on the novus system or weather that system is only for for fttc fttp fttb hfc and not fttn or weather there some kind of tech not present for me or something i'm not to know idc all the same as long at the system works and is stable for me i'm good with that..EDIT: I'd be really interested in a solution to this too, as I'd like to have a backup modem.
I've lost a little faith in the iinet support system since they were bought out, but will call them (again) on Monday if no-one here comes up with a brilliant solution.
I use stun.voxalot.com on port 3478 for all my VOIP providers. I am sure this will be correct. This line of business specific document is here to help you reach your adoption goals. So upgrading my router/modem/wireless is a down the track thing for me.These are the settings I used to configure the modem for the ACT VDSL2 service (both for the VDSL2 connection and also VoIP):Success !! Support advise that they are no longer permitted to provide the VoIP password. E-Mail received, and a representative will be in touch to follow this up further. I'm really hoping to solve the problem using this modem as it has already been purchase and THEORETICALLY a modem is a modem ??
The settings I put into the new modem were the ones that TPlink recommend for iinet users on their FAQ's page.I've lost a little faith in the iinet support system since they were bought out,Personally, I find the $10 iiNet TG-789 serves my purposes well, a stable connection with no dropouts and excellent voice quality on the VOIP.
Also, please select the correct answer(s) if any comment(s) answer your question otherwise the questions remains on the support forums as unanswered. We swapped that around but no luck – I asked Chad to call me back in 15 while I reset to factory settings and repeated the setup – this time couldn't get a positive status on the phones at all :(Are there other good ISPs who are more relaxed about configuring NBN phone on third party modems? Thanks for that, and I agree, they have no obligation to assist me with third party routers, however, I have found their help staff harder to understand since the changeover (my problem for not being good with accents) anyway the sip address is good, and the fact that it rings once before hanging up does suggest that I have the settings right & maybe a hardware issue – too technical for me though & I will call Iinet tomorrow & post any results here.Hi Steve – we're still on adsl, and when/if we do go to NBN it will be satellitehttps://www.tp-link.com/au/download/Archer-VR600v.htmlwas on my initial order back in january 2019, come February 2019 when things finally progressed i was sent the tc-tg789v3 there was never a clear reason at the time why i was sent this modem instead of the tplink modem.Oh well, I am on month to month with iiNet.It took me quite a while to figure out how to get this working with iiNet's Ultra Broadband VDSL2 (ACT) service the other day so I thought I'd post this for everyone's benefit....and further.
